“Google does’ 3D Touch ‘feature back in Android 7.1’




Google releases the launcher shortcut feature, reminiscent of the 3D Touch application in iOS, Android 7.1 back in the search giant put Launcher Shortcuts in previews Android 7.0, but deleted for the release function.

The site Android Police discovered references to Launcher Shortcuts in ten apps from Google, including Gmail, Maps, Photos, Calendar and Search. With Launcher Shortcuts can create applications shortcuts for certain actions. How it will work in practice is still unknown. This can be done by hard pressing a touch-sensitive screen, as is possible in iOS, press and hold an icon or by swiping on an icon to go up.
