Find a Question:
Google earns less per ad
Although sales of search giant Google is still growing, the company earns less per ad. This is evident from the quarterly figures of the company. Google earns less mobile ads than it does on PCs.
google Google earned in the quarter 2 percent per advertisement, compared with a year ago. On his own websites – the search engine, YouTube – was that decline even 4 percent. The decrease in the price per click is mainly because Google earns less than traditional desktop ads, mobile ads, the search giant indicated previously. In a conference call with Google advertisers say they are not worried.
Despite the lower cost per click Google still earned more money: the search giant pulled by $ 16.5 billion or 12.9 billion, a fifth more turnover than a year ago. Earnings declined marginally from 3 billion to $ 2.8 billion, 2.2 billion euros converted. This decrease is partly due to the loss of Motorola; Google previously concluded an agreement with Lenovo to sell that division, but that acquisition is still pending. Google still earns most of his money on his own websites as much as 68 percent. How much money is coming in each site, Google is not known.
Despite the increased revenue analysts worry, reports The New York Times. This increases the number of times users click on ads, but this increase is less hard. In the past quarter clicked on an ad 17 percent more than a year ago. Previous quarter, the increase was still 25 percent.Viewing:-251
