Google encrypts data to complicate the tap
Google has announced that it is going to encrypt data continue to make it difficult for NSA and the intelligence services of other countries, capture data. This statement comes shortly after it was revealed that NSA & Co encryption (it is not known exactly which ones) can handle and have prompted Backdoors in Web Services. The encryption initiative was adopted last year and this June accelerated when the first PRISM revelations made the rounds.
Encrypts the information that flows between the data centers. This does not mean that no more data can be tapped. The data for individual users may be further intercepted elsewhere. However, it is assumed that the mass of data collection difficult.
Eric Grosse, vice president for security engineering at Google, speaks of an arms race, with the intelligence community as a strong player in this game. Experts say that other than the U.S. authorities will also attacks from China, Russia, Israel and England.
