Google explains German miniature world with tiny Street View vehicles

Google has added the German Miniatur Wunderland to Google Maps. To capture the huge miniature railway landscape were made small cars and trains, which are equipped with 360-degree cameras.

Google also made a miniature version of the cars that the regular Street View images are captured. However, this car is purely decorative; the actual pictures taken with voertuigjes less finished eyes. Many technical details on the restated voertuigjes Google, but on pictures show that this is a train and a car with front and rear a fisheye lens.

In a Google video gives a behind the scenes look at the making of the Street View imagery in the German miniature wonderland. To view the result is a special website created with an overview of all locations. The Miniatur Wunderland, located in Hamburg, is the world’s largest model railway exhibition.
