Google gives users insight into frequented locations




Google gives Android users a detailed overview of locations where they have been as they have enabled location history. And they can include how long they’ve been in a pub or at work.

Google collects location data from users for some time as they have enabled Google Now, but it was not determined for sale there. Users could well see their location history, but in doing so, only the movements shown on a map; there was no list of sites where a user was staying. Google is such a survey now rolling out .

Users can, if they have enabled location history, an overview will soon see how long they stayed on a particular location. If users are using Google Photos, captured images are moreover shown in the chart. The new interface is both from the Google Maps app on Android and via a dedicated website to approach, all demonstrating that still do not work for everyone.

Google may be trying the new Timeline, as the company calls the list to give users better insight into what is happening with their location data. Users are often unaware that their Google collects location data as they enable Google Now. The location information is used among others to make recommendations to size; if a user at the end of his workday ‘card’ dished get with traffic information.
