Google has removed the mail client Sparrow from the App Store and Mac App Store, bought in June 2012. Prior to purchasing the search giant Sparrow was considered one of the best alternative to mail applications for iOS. After absorption of a startup, client development was abandoned.
Sparrow offered to iPhone and iPad users convenient navigation bar, instant setting popular services (Gmail, Google Apps, iCloud, Yahoo, AOL) and the work on the protocol IMAP. July 20, 2012 Sparrow developers released a statement on the purchase of their start-up by Google.
