Robot Schaft, developed by Japanese corporation Shaft Inc won first place in the DARPA’s Robotic Challenge (DRC). He scored 27 points, winning 4 of 8 nominations. The closest competitor, scored 20 points, turned the famous Atlas, created by Boston Dynamics. It is worth noting that Shaft Inc recently was acquired by Google, which for all its achievements can now add the most perfect possession of bipedal robot.
