Google introduces handwriting recognition app for Android
Google has the Google Handwriting Input released. The app recognizes handwriting in 82 languages, including Dutch, and works with Android 4.0.3 or later versions. For recognizing handwriting does not require internet connection.
Google Handwriting Input recognizes 20 different magazines and 82 languages and can be used with all Android apps. Users can regular or cursive writing, with fingers or stylus. In addition, the app is drawn hundreds emojis convert when users hold down the ‘enter’ button. An Internet connection is not required, says Google, but can be used for, possibly, better recognition.
Especially imports of notebooks based on ideograms with many different characters, such as Chinese, handwriting would be a convenient alternative to keyboard input. Google claims several recognition techniques such as those from previous technology Translate Apps on Android and iOS, mobile search and Google Input Tools and combined have made it smaller and faster to do. The app works on smartphones and tablets with Android 4.0.3 or later versions of the mobile OS.
