Google is once again offering advertisements about cryptocurrency

Google reports on its support website that potential advertisers must be certified for the specific country they want to advertise. Google decides for itself whether a company can display advertisements related to cryptocurrency. According to the wording only regulated exchanges may advertise.

From October, companies that want to advertise with cryptocurrency can register. The ads are currently only shown in the US and in Japan, but the advertisers may also come from other countries.

In March, Google introduced a total ban on advertisements around cryptocurrency. This followed Facebook, which in January already took a similar step. Facebook already relaxed the ban in June and also allows more than Google. At the social network, all approved advertisers may advertise related to cryptocurrency, provided that it is not about initial coin offerings .
