Google Is Testing The VR Ads




Google on Wednesday launched a new project for the first time to explore online advertising using virtual reality technology. The company revealed a cube that interacts with the user’s eyes. Although there are not many people who use virtual reality yet, Means that the company is not working on how to deliver ads to them.

This new project is part of Google’s 120 Area Workshop, which is used by the company to test new ideas quickly to see if they can become actual products. It is logical for the company to discover the forms of virtual reality ads, Consider that the search giant derives the bulk of its adverts from online advertising.

The company is exploring this experience to allow developers to make money by building virtual reality applications, as well as selling them online. According to Google’s animated GIF, the virtual reality ad model resembles a small cube with corporate logos on all sides of the cube.

Users can allow the cube to generate a small screen above to show the video ad either by clicking on the cube or staring at it for a specified period of time. Google’s work on VRs is early in development, so people are unlikely to see similar ads within a world Virtual Reality.

The ad cube appears as a three-dimensional object within an application, and tries to attract users’ attention by rotating. Once viewed directly, it opens a large window that automatically occupies the ad. The company is currently pushing developers to test the project through Google’s virtual reality cartoon, Daydream virtual reality platform and Samsung’s virtual reality glasses.
