Google is working on service to easily find handymen ‘

Google works on BuzzFeed an online service that can directly get in touch with handymen, plumbers and electricians. That service has a potential to be a competitor for the Dutch Werkspot.

google Google plans to announce the service later this spring, reports BuzzFeed. However, it is not clear when the service will be introduced. Google would want to integrate the service with its search engine, so when looking for online job work directly get the suggestion to contact a handyman, plumber or electrician.

It is unclear how the communication between the handyman and the surfer would expire. In the case of Werkspot , a Dutch company that offers similar functionality, users can create a job, and handymen that can respond to and can make an offer. It is unclear whether Google’s service will work as well, or users with a job just need to find a handyman.

It is not yet known whether Google’s service will also be introduced in the Netherlands and Belgium. Usually Google introduces new services that rely on third parties, as in this case, handymen, first in a few countries. Last week, Amazon came with a service that handymen can be found.
