Google had already integrated a night mode under the name “Night Mode” in earlier development versions of Android 7.0 (nougat). Similar to Apple’s Nightshift filtered and Androids Night Mode, the blue light out and turned off the blue pixels. In later Previews Google had this feature but very removed to the disappointment of the community. It was assumed that the integration Google’s quality standards was not sufficient and was therefore postponed to later versions of Android. Now the Night celebrates fashion under the new name “Nightlight” but apparently a comeback.

According to Android Police Nightlight to give it back implemented in Android 7.0 and thus bless the upcoming Nexus smartphones. It allows users to flick the option so that it occurs automatically after sunset in force or alternatively define themselves cycles. Open is at the current time but still if Nightlight generally holds 7.0 feed in Android or represents an exclusive feature of the upcoming Nexus smartphones. In addition, there should be a separate double-tap gesture for the feature Ambient display. Ambient display enables since Nexus 6 when the display notifications on the lockscreen in black / white to let aufploppen. Basically, it is a power-saving way to keep track. Of course, is an optional feature which will find many Nexus owners but very useful.

Google itself says nothing of course to the leaked information, so that still remain many question marks. As I said, it is surprising that Google the Night Mode could now return as a nightlight. Before there were probably technical problems with the night mode to have drawn about quite a lot of power. Maybe try Google feature so but really only used to own Nexus devices. Soon we know more, since the release of Android 7. (nougat) is coming eventually.
