Find a Question:
Google Now soon location-based news?
Now Google gets steadily extensions of the cards offered, be provided to those tailored for the user information. Google now wants to bring apparently site-specific news on the smartphone displays. Internally to the hyper-local news cards are already being tested, however, says Johanna Wright (Vice President of Search and Assist from Google) and that these tests take place in an experimental version.
The cards are of course put on Google News, there may already be locally sourced news. Now Google filters these news and proposes to the user from only those who have just selected. Google describes it as a push medium for local news, as “relevant connection” only to be displayed.
It is not yet clear whether it create the local news in the wild, which depends on the internal testing. I imagine it before but very useful. Just waiting to be bridged, local news would make sure to quickly popular. What about with you?
