Google playbooks: now with upload from your own device

Users of Google’s book software under Android should have been offered an update. This update allows you to upload books from the smartphone or tablet, previously you had to always the web interface endeavor. The upload works, for example, via mail or a file viewer in Android, so you have to load an EPUB or PDF file from there into the Google Play Books app.

Google PlayBooks

Google playbooks periods in my view a shadowy existence. This is not just a simple reader, but also the ability to directly available for purchase the books. And this one can be read even automated. This is indeed not a charismatic voice, as they are known from audiobooks, but you can see the electronic voice very well – even if you may be bothered by lack of pauses and emphasis.

In addition to uploading Google also writes an improved presentation of marks and notes in the changelog, even books themselves are to be opened quickly and smoothly. For people who read in bed at night, an additional setting option for reading in low light has been added.

By the way: your own files can be up to 50 megabytes in size, up to 1000 own books can load it in Google’s cloud storage.
