Google shows complete prototype of self-propelled vehicle

Google has shown Monday the first prototype of its autonomous car that is completely ‘finished’. It is an evolution of the car that the technology demonstrated earlier this year. That version had when ‘not even headlights.

Google shows the car in a Google+ message. It makes the technology a little more loose information about the new prototype. So it’s a ‘complete’ version of the car that in May this year had seen. That cart contains no steering wheel and pedals, and can automatically take a ride from a to b. The current version is called Lidar system for detecting objects around the vehicle, reduced.

During the holidays, Google is experimenting in his own words with the cart on a test track. Then it comes with a customized version of the car on the road in the US state of California. Basically it runs without human intervention, but the drivers do have a steering wheel and pedals temporary. That way they can intervene in an emergency, what California law.

Google has been working on autonomous cars. Previously used the existing models which hung full of sensors, but it builds self-propelled cars using parts manufacturers. A new “beta one ‘model is under development that should be more advanced than previous cars. At the beginning of 2015, these cars, the characteristics of which are still unclear, also be tested on the road.

Incidentally let Google last week apart that it is not going to go later cars produce. Therefore, the company also seeks a partnership with another company. Discussions are already underway with potential partners, but it is not known who they are. In five years, the first self-propelled cars what Google concerns on the market.
