Google starts lawsuit against Apple and Microsoft patent consortium

Google has filed a lawsuit against a patent consortium of Microsoft, Apple, Blackberry and Sony. Google wants a declaration that Android and Nexus devices do not infringe the patents of the consortium.

Google Earlier, the patent consortium, named Rockstar, manufacturers of Android phones charged . Google, Asus, Samsung, HTC, Huawei, LG, Pantech, and ZTE were the target of the lawsuit because they would make patents former Canadian telecom giant Nortel, which was the consortium in 2011 for $ 4.5 billion in the hands infringement.

Google hopes that the judge issues a statement that its Nexus devices, as well as the Android operating system, do not infringe the patents of Rockstar.
