Google takes on Gecko Design for Project X

Google has acquired Gecko Design, a design company that has contributed to the One Laptop Per Child project. Include After the acquisition, the employees must contribute to Google’s Project X, which include Google Glass stemmed from.

Google confirmed that the Gecko Design takes over in a reaction to Bloomberg, which first reported on the case. Gecko Design itself has now also stated that it will be acquired by Google. The staff would like to bring Google in Project X, the industry which include Google Glass and the self-propelled vehicle of the Internet company originated. Gecko Design is little known, but it has contributed to several well-known products. Thus, it contributed to the design of a laptop for the One Laptop Per Child project, and it has some Jawbone products are designed. The purchase price was not disclosed by Google. It is not yet known from when the acquisition to be completed.
