Google takes staff start-up on Homejoy
The staff of the start-up Homejoy, a company for hiring cleaning services, going to work at Google. The Internet giant intends to use the knowledge of the workers for their own services: Homejoy has created an online system to link customer and cleaner.
Across Re / code confirmed that Google takes over part of the staff of Homejoy. These are people with a technical background, about twenty people in total. Further, it was not explained by the spokesperson what the plans are for the team of Homejoy. The cleaning itself will close its doors at the end of the month.
