Google takes staff start-up on Homejoy

The staff of the start-up Homejoy, a company for hiring cleaning services, going to work at Google. The Internet giant intends to use the knowledge of the workers for their own services: Homejoy has created an online system to link customer and cleaner.
Across Re / code confirmed that Google takes over part of the staff of Homejoy. These are people with a technical background, about twenty people in total. Further, it was not explained by the spokesperson what the plans are for the team of Homejoy. The cleaning itself will close its doors at the end of the month. Incidentally, it was already decided after a conflict arose over whether Homejoy the cleaners it emits when employees must consider.
Although Google did not want to reveal where the new staff deployed propose sources across Re / code that workers are used to build a similar platform as it Homejoy had set. This would Google want to recommend not only local cleaners, but also other service providers, such as painters and plumbers.
