This news should not come as a surprise, since Google has already hinted at what is working on a version of Google Glass for those who wear corrective glasses. Today, the company announced it officially. Google Glass will support glasses for vision correction later in the year. However, note that this option is not available for the Explorer Edition, the current version of Google Glass.

According to a report published in Google+, the company is working on a separate model Google Glass, which is designed for people with visual impairment. These glasses have a modular design, which allows to change frames and lenses. A prototype is already testing Greg Priest-Dorman (Greg Priest-Dorman), a member of the team Glass. This will be the second model, which will debut in 2013.

It is expected that the two models will be sold in Glass Christmas holiday season.
