GoPro brings accessory to operate cameras with speech

GoPro has released a kind of remote control for the Hero 5, which makes it possible to give commands by voice. For example, users can attach to their clothing the device, and thus control the camera remotely.

GoPro Remo The remote bears the name Remo, as GoPro announced on its website. It is a small device that resembles a sort of square button; it is therefore only intended to capture speech commands. The fact that the Remo can in ten different languages, although it is not known whether there is at Dutch. GoPro also has built-in noise canceling, making voice commands even in noisy environments can be understood.

According GoPro understands the Remo thirteen different commands, including starting or stopping a recording, or making a picture. Commands can be transmitted to a distance of ten meters to the Hero 5 camera. On other cameras from GoPro works Remo not. Moreover, the Hero 5 itself has voice control, but with the Remo it is possible to control the camera from greater distances.

For Remo has to be a sum of 90 euros paid . For this, the buyer receives the remote control, but also a clip for attaching to clothing, and a strap for attachment to the wrist.
