Sony yielded in the past three months, less than the half of the number of smart phones than the yield in the same period the previous year. This is evident from the quarterly figures from the manufacturer. In other Sony branches goes better.

The decrease according to Sony by focusing on more expensive models, reducing the number decreased, but the average sales have increased. Moreover, Sony has reduced the loss on the mobile branch. With deliveries of 3.4 million smartphones last quarter, Sony is far from the top five, all of which yielded more than 14 million units during the same period. Sony in addition to Microsoft and Apple is the third well-known manufacturer which supplies firmly declined.

Sony presented in February three new models, the X Performance, X and XA , but only get a month off. The manufacturer did not reveal any new models in the last quarter, but did have the Z5 Premium with 4k display, and Z5 Z5 Compact on the shelves.
