Hangouts: Google makes API tight, apps can still be used by the end of April
Google is already preparing its spring cleaning. As you are almost accustomed to from Mountain View, things are set up from time to time, not always to the delight of the users, as shown by the Google Reader setting at the time. But that’s the way it is, and this time it’s Hangouts. More specifically the Hangouts API. Through the interface it was possible to use things like masks or drawings in Hangouts video calls. New apps that want to use this interface will no longer exist. But even already existing apps the cock is twisted.
