High-end smart phone market slump, midrange models gradually favored by consumers
Sources pointed out that in 2013 the second quarter smartphone shipments grew 6.6% in the first quarter, representing growth of 31.4%.
According to market research firm TrendForce statistics, in 2013 in the second quarter smartphone shipments to two hundred twenty-one million units, compared with a slight growth of 6.6% in the first quarter, but lower than the second quarter of 2012 grew 31.4 percent, estimated that in 2013 total shipments for the nine hundred twenty-eight million units.
