Hitman Review – Good but short
The new episodic Hitman have you back in touch many choices. The game is much less linear than its predecessor. Moreover, one level from the first episode is much larger than usual. However impressive especially the simulation of the many characters in that level. It makes you puzzling delicious on the ideal way to turn your victims. There are dozens of options for who rarely obvious. There are also enumerate some negatives. There is quite a lot of clipping and get the icons that you need to perform an action not always in the picture. Furthermore, we are not fond of the episodic approach.

A month ago we watched already extended to the new Hitman. We got the chance to play the first level of the game and the two training missions that precede it. That was not much, but exactly what publisher Square Enix has released the first episode of the game. We go to the contents of this first chapter obviously not rewrite, but stick to our opinion on this new adventure of Agent 47.

Let’s start by taking appearance. There is obviously progressed compared Hitman: Absolution in 2012. The Danish Io Interactive has its own engine Glacier stepped up, so that he can handle DirectX 12. With DirectX 11, the game looks but also fine. The first chapter of the game is set in a Baroque palace in Paris, and the splendor, pomp and especially the many rich ornaments in the palace are excellent dividends, as many small objects all around seem to swing . The number of polygons in the image must be substantial. You see neatly draped curtains and beautifully detailed candelabras and chandeliers, in a room with a rich banquet of wild and fruit that is designed to the smallest detail. The only disadvantage is that the party you visit place in the evening and so there is the dark side. This means that you can not always properly observe all these details. That’s hopefully else in the five missions later this year.
Better than Absolution
As for gameplay, it is especially good that Io Interactive has abandoned the streamlined design of predecessor Hitman: Absolution. You have a lot more freedom and many more options than in Absolution. In that game, the number of options was somewhat scanty. Did you come from a radio, chances were that you needed the device for some guards to deceive. Outside the use of brute force – never advisable in Hitman – Absolution it was just something too often the only way to get a little unseen and unheard by the guards. The game was in it some linear, and that is fortunately different.
In this Hitman you can find many great tools that you can put in. Much more than in Absolution, but fortunately it is nowhere so you need a tool found in the immediate vicinity. In fact; The game regularly gives suggestions. “Here’s a tap and if you sabotaging with a wrench, you can drain the water.” “There is a patio heater and if you sabotaging with a screwdriver, you can cause an accident.” “If you poison, poison you drink this or that court. Where in Absolution tool you needed something too often just around the corner was waiting for you, that is not the case here. The necessary resources are all available, but rarely around. So it should be a Hitman game. There are plenty of options, but nothing ostentatious and obvious.Viewing:-141
