Find a Question:
HOLLYWOOD WILL USE DRONES TO SHOOT FILMS
To date, the drones are no longer uncommon, but they are still illegal to use companies. United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted the use of drones in the film industry for six Hollywood studios .
Permission to use the UAV received such company:
Aerial MOB, LLC;
HeliVideo Productions, LLC;
RC Pro Productions Consulting, LLC dba Vortex Aerial;
Snaproll Media, LLC.
Flying-Cam was close to becoming the seventh, but the FAA wants more information from the studio before she gets the desired approval. The move is significant progress for commercial use of unmanned aerial vehicles.
The reason why Hollywood is seeking drones for its use, is the ability to capture footage of the unique angles without the need for a full-size helicopter. Prior to this, FAA gave only one resolution for commercial use for aerial photography in Alaska.
All operators must have the drone pilot’s personal certificates, as well as drones should be raised only in line of sight, and be inspected before each use. Flying at night is not allowed. The Agency will develop further rules and requirements under which permits will be granted, according to Gizmag.
“The use of drones will not pose a danger to other aircraft or people and their property in the land,” – says FAA Administrator Michael Worth (Michael Huerta).
Progress in the use of unmanned aerial vehicles is important not only for Hollywood, but for many companies in other industries that have similar ambitions. example, Amazon and Google are two companies from around the world, who developed the idea of delivery using drones.
According to the FAA, is now seen more than 40 applications for the use of drones for commercial purposes.Viewing:-148
