Homefront: The Revolution Preview – Depart from the beaten track




Oh, what the expectations were high, then Homefront in 2011 came on the market. And oh, what was disappointing when it appeared that the game offered a short game too much expensive to be worth the money. What has gone wrong during the development of the game has never been cleared up, but it is clear that the game beforehand offer much more than what seemed to be the end result ultimately voorschotelde. Yes, the first part was short, but that was not what the team saw new opportunities. As part of Crytek developers naturally make use of the CryEngine, which is where the team saw new opportunities. With the new engine, it is possible to Homefront: The Revolution to create an open, uninterrupted game world. That in turn makes it possible to release the linear character of the first game.
