Honor 6 Plus Review – Disappointing device with good battery life




The Honor 6 Plus has a few downsides that you do not expect a device in the price range of around 400 euros. So lacking in the Netherlands major 4G frequencies, extending the reach of 4G at all providers will be limited. He also runs an ancient Android version. However, he has a good screen, great build quality and especially a relatively good battery life. Although we downsides 6 Plus charging sharply, they are indeed unacceptable for such an expensive device, the aforementioned pros are good enough to help him sufficiently.

OnePlus, Kazam, Wiko Honor: they are all brands that are trying to get a foot in the door in the crowded smartphone market. Where OnePlus tries especially with a sophisticated public relations campaign aimed at flagships, and Kazam and Wiki quietly trying to capture the market for cheaper devices, Honor is targeting a younger target group, with purely online sales and the bold slogan “for the brave ‘ .

Honor has been a relatively complete line of appliances on the Dutch market, from cheap Holly, through the midrange to 4x the Honor 6 and now more expensive 6 Plus. Plus which lies in a number of characteristics: a larger screen, a slightly newer version of Huaweis own soc and a completely different camera. Instead of the 13-megapixel camera on the back, the device has two identical 8-megapixel cameras side by side.

In addition, it is of course a ‘normal’ Android smartphone that features a 5.5 “screen with a full HD resolution and Huawei homemade software based on Android.
