Finder

Is not the first time we raise the topic of hot keys. For example, the standard keyboard shortcuts for the “message” in OS X. Or here: hotkeys when using an external keyboard with iOS-devices . The theme is really very popular and demanded, because hotkeys much easier to work with a particular application. So today let’s talk about it again in the spotlight – Finder .

^ + Cmd + T – place the selected object in the sidebar
cmd + I – to get information about the selected file
shift + cmd + F – open the “My Files”
shift + cmd + A – open the “Programs”
shift + cmd + D – open the “Desktop”
cmd + D – to create a copy of the selected file
cmd + N – open a new window
cmd + delete – move the selected file to the “shopping cart”
shift + cmd + N – create a new folder
alt + cmd + N – to create a new smart folder
cmd + / – show the status bar
cmd + R – show original
cmd + J – Show View Options
alt + cmd + S – show (hide) Sidebar
shift + cmd + T – to show (hide) tab bar
alt + cmd + T – to show (hide) toolbar
