With the latest version of the PlayStation 4 firmware, Sony has relaxed the long-standing restrictions on using special backgrounds on the home screen. Here’s how to import custom wallpapers for your PlayStation 4.

Create a picture folder on your drive.
Sign in to PlayStation 4 and go to Settings.
Select Topics.
Choose Custom.

Click Select File, and then select USB Storage Device.
Select the background you want to select.
Crop the background you want, and select the colors from the list.
With these simple steps you can import custom wallpapers for your PlayStation 4.
