In addition to many new features offered by iOS 12 for iPhone and iPad , the system makes some changes to how existing features work, one of which is how to permanently delete images.

There are a lot of changes when it comes to sharing and managing images on iOS 12, and for final deletion of images on OS 11 after deleting images, the user needs to move to the recently deleted album and delete it too, This is still the case with iOS 12 but the recently deleted folder has changed its appearance and has become somewhat difficult to access.

When you delete any images on an IOS device that is stored in a recently deleted album and is automatically deleted after 30 days, this feature is very important for users who accidentally delete some images and want to restore them again.

How to permanently delete photos on iPhone and iPad in iOS 12:
Open the Photos app on your iOS 12 device.
Go to the Albums tab tab at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll down to the Other Albums section Other Albums section .
Click on the Recently Deleted Deleted Album option.
You’ll see all the photos you’ve deleted recently and you’ll see on each photo the number of days left before the system permanently deletes them.
Click on the Select option in the upper right corner of the screen and you will see two options.

The first option is Delete All. Click on it if you want to delete the whole album at once.
The second option is to delete individual images. Select the Delete Individual Images option , which allows you to select some images that you want to delete permanently.

How you can restore your recently deleted photos in iOS 12:
If you accidentally delete some photos, you will have 30 days to restore them from a recently deleted album, and after restoring the photos you will return to the album of all your photos.

Open the Photos app.
Go to the Albums tab.
Scroll down to the Other Albums section Other Albums section .
Click on the Recently Deleted Deleted Album option.
Press Select in the upper right corner of the screen.
Then click on each image you want to restore and keep.
Click the Restore option, and then confirm that you want to restore the photos.
