How to upgrade to iOS 7 beta and GM

iOS 7

After yesterday’s release of iOS 7, we received a lot of questions from readers who have installed the beta version of iOS 7 and the Golden Master, how they should do in order to become users of the final version of the operating system. We are happy to share tips, especially since there is nothing complicated here.

First you need to download the official iOS 7 final assembly from the server Apple. Below is a list of links to all the supported devices, from which you should choose its own:

iPhone 4 (GSM)
iPhone 4 (CDMA)
iPhone 4 (GSM 8 GB)
iPhone 4S
iPhone 5 (A1429. GSM + CDMA)
iPhone 5 (A1428. GSM)

iPad 2 Wi-Fi
iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G (GSM)
iPad 2 Wi-Fi + CDMA
iPad 2 Wi-Fi (Rev A)
iPad 3 Wi-Fi
iPad 3 Wi-Fi + 3G (GSM)
iPad 3 Wi-Fi + 3G (CDMA)
iPad 4 W-Fi
4 iPad Wi-Fi + GSM
iPad 4 Wi-Fi + CDMA
iPad mini Wi-Fi + GSM
iPad mini Wi-Fi + CDMA
iPad mini Wi-Fi

iPod touch 5th generation

Next, you open iTunes on your computer and connect the device to your computer. By the way, no harm would be to install a version iTunes 11.1 , which was released yesterday on the eve of release of iOS 7. Then you have to pinch and hold the Alt, in iTunes click “Update” button and specify the path to the loaded assembly. Well, then please be attention and observe the process: the installation will have to take a few minutes. After the reboot you will get a device, fully updated to the final firmware.

By the way, can not fail to note that if you are using a version of the Golden Master, then no you will not see the differences, because this version is identical to the final. However, if you continue to use the GM, you will not be able to receive updates of the operating system. If you have this point of principle, we advise you to do all the steps above.
