HP announces gaming laptop to Omen – update




HP has a new gaming laptop named Omen announced. The device has a screen size of 15.6 inches and a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. In terms of hardware, the laptop in different versions.

The gaming laptop is running on a standard Intel Core i7 and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 860m for the graphics. Customers can in terms of hardware, however, choose from different designs. Omen comes standard with an SSD of 128 GB, but the capacity of the SSD can for an additional cost to 256GB or 512GB. There are also options for 8GB or 16GB DDR3, and between 2GB or 4GB GDDR5.

HP reports that the laptop is 19.9 millimeters thick and weighs about 2.1 kilograms. All inputs and outputs are fixed to the back of the laptop to keep room for the mouse and other accessories to keep. It concerns include the current access, HDMI port and four USB 3.0 ports.

The standard version of Omen will cost $ 1,499, including VAT and converted about 1450 euro. The gaming laptop is currently already available in the United States. It is unknown when the Omen will appear on the European market.

Update, 16:06: HP Netherlands reports that Omen also come to the Netherlands in November. The gaming laptop is 1799 euros. The manufacturer does not give a reason for the significantly higher price in the Netherlands.
