HP announces new IPS displays and entry level workstation to

HP has announced two monitors in its new Z-Display-line. The HP and Z22i Z24i feature ips panels and are intended for use in combination with the Z-HP workstations. There is also a new entry-level workstation with price of 899 euros.

The HP Z22i and Z24i have on screen diagonal of 21.5 “and 24” and a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The Z22i has a maximum brightness of 250 nits and is 95 percent of the sRGB color space display. The Z24i has slightly better specifications: the brightness is 300 nits and this model can display 99 percent of the sRGB spectrum. Both feature DisplayPort, DVI-D and VGA connection. The HP and HP Z22i Z24i come late August available and costs in the Netherlands respectively 229 and 374 euros including VAT.

Along with the monitors announced the HP Z230. This is a workstation that is offered in small form factor and a tower housing. HP provides the model of the latest generation of Intel Xeon processors, but the model is also i7 of the Haswell generation comes with Core i5 and Core. For memory, four DIMM slots available and there are several options with regard to storage, with a maximum capacity in the tower model of three 3.5 “HDD’s with a size of 3TB.
