HP announces Windows 10 smartphone Elite x3 and laptop module

HP has announced the Elite x3. Also, the manufacturer with a Continuum dock and Mobile Extender for the smartphone. The extender is a 12.5 “screen with a keyboard, so that the Elite X3 can also be used as a laptop.

HP provides the Elite x3 smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820-soc, lpddr4 4GB ram and 64GB EMMC storage memory. The phone has a 5.96 “-oledscherm with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. Users can log in using iris recognition or using the fingerprint scanner. In addition, the device stereo speakers and a 4150mAh battery that supports wireless charging and a micro SD slot present in the housing.

The smartphone has a 16-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel front camera. The HP Elite x3 is 161,8×83,5×7,8mm and weighs 195 grams. The housing is dust- and waterproof according to IP67 specifications and can survive a fall from 1.2 meters. The device is expected to be on sale from the summer, the price later published simultaneously with the availability.

The smartphone can be connected wirelessly or with a USB cable c.
