HP Slate Book X2 is available in Netherlands




HP’s 10.1 “Android tablet with detachable keyboard is starting this week as one of the first devices with Nvidia’s Tegra 4-soc available in the Netherlands. The convertible runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

The HP Slate Book X2 has an IPS panel with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and a ppi of 224. The Tegra 4-soc is equipped with four ARM Cortex-A15 cores doing their work at 1.8 GHz. A fifth low-power core to keep the battery usage within bounds. There is 2GB DDR3 RAM, and 32GB storage. Connectors are for USB and HDMI. Also, the Slate Book equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi but lacks GPS. On the back is a 2-megapixel camera on the front and a 720p version.

The manufacturer has both a version with 32GB also announced a 16GB model or last but also to the Netherlands, is not yet known. The memory can be expanded with a micro SD card and the keyboard is a reader for standard size SD cards. Both the tablet and the removable keyboard features a battery, making the combined battery life according to HP is at 14 o’clock. The tablet weighs including the keyboard with magnets held in place around 1250g and will retail for 539 euros.
