HTC allows public release of VR headset Vive out

HTC has announced the release of its ve headset Vive for the general public delayed until the first months of 2016. It was initially planned that the VR headset this year would get a wide release, but this deadline HTC does not reach.

Both HTC and Valve, with whom the smartphone maker develops the headset confirms the postponement opposite tech site Recode. The intention is to bring the VR headset on the market at the beginning of 2016 and that almost simultaneously with the Oculus Rift, one of the competitors of the Vive.

It is unknown why the HTC Vive delays, but it’s not the first time that a manufacturer this year to postpone a product. That happened earlier with his wearable Grip, which should be released this summer. It is unclear whether the postponement of products has something to do with the problems of HTC financially. The announced recently by some of his staff to dismiss, but mentioned thereby explicitly or by going to Vive.

HTC announced the Vive beginning of March this year. It is a VR headset physically move in a virtual world to make possible through the use of sensors. The developer version of Vive came out in June. The manufacturer named in July all that physical stores Vive supposedly could only be expected in 2016 in a story game site Polygon.
