HTC announces One A9 smartphone with 5 “-1080p-amoledscherm




HTC has a presentation on YouTube announced a new smartphone called One A9. The device has an aluminum unibody and a 5 “-1080p-amoledscherm, a 617-octacore Snapdragon CPU and 2GB RAM.

HTC late know that the device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with their own familiar Sense skin over it. The cores of the processor have different speeds; the first four run at 1.5 GHz and 1.2 GHz in the last four. The internal storage memory is 16GB big, but that can be extended with a micro SD card which has capacity up to 2TB. The power is delivered to the device via a 2150mAh battery that supports quick charge 3.0. HTC talks about a standby time of 18 days, or 16 hours of dial, or 9 hours browsing wifi.

The dimensions of the enclosure, reminiscent of the iPhone are 145.75 x 70.8 x 7,26mm. That places the device largely between the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ in both what concerns dimensions as the diagonal of the screen. Also, the weight of 143 g falls in between the two iPhone.

HTC has the hardware button on the front also included a fingerprint sensor. The connection is via micro-USB 2.0. In contrast to the One, the One A9 M9 are its speakers on the bottom of the unit.

In audio HTC introduces support for 24-bit, 192kHz audio. Moreover, the company promises that the built-in amplifier is able ‘to support even the largest of headphones at maximum volume. The One A9 is sold in three different colors: silver opal, carbon gray and topaz gold.

The A9 One will retail for 599 euros and must be available worldwide in early November. The version that HTC sells itself in the US through its webshop shall, within fifteen days after the Google Nexus devices are getting system updates, promises to the Taiwanese company. It is not clear how soon afterwards follow the updates for the rest of the One A9 sets, but that should in theory not take long.
