HTC founded Vive-app store for non-game applications called Vive Port




HTC introduces Vive Port, an app store that has to be home for all non-game applications for the HTC Vive headset. The company would like Fri apps in categories such as education, social media, 360-degree video, news, sports and more lodging.

Vive Port was announced during the VRLA expo in Los Angeles on Friday. The company has also a blog post devoted. Vive Port now launched its beta phase in China and in the coming weeks should inform users and developers in 30 countries have access to the area. A full release will take place in the autumn of this year.

The store will be accessible via the headset, but also a PC and mobile app and the web. Developers will be able to self-publish on Vive Port, but the content you add must comply with the directives of HTC. HTC has for convenience faq drawn about Vive Port. Currently, the retail environment would contain about 100 apps. More is not known about Vive Port.
