It is a remake of the butterfly and has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 even a meaner processor than the HTC one – the four cores clocked at 1.9 GHz Butterfly s, while in the 1.7 GHz HTC One “only”.

It is also larger than the HTC one, the Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels can show a screen size of 5 inches. The Ultra pixel camera with 4 MP resolution and a f/2.0-Blende is also now on board, is complemented on the front with a 2.1 megapixel camera with wide angle lens and you can access here, as with the HTC one on Zoe. Next there is 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, which you can drill through a microSD card.

There are Gigabit WLAN, IEEE 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, quad-band GSM and quad-band HSPA + support, but no LTE. However, it turns the battery – Achilles heel of the first Butterfly – done stuff: With 3,200 mAh ye sufficiently served here. One of the well known HTC boom sound speakers you also get supplied here is Beats Audio support – hence the butterfly’s should have a very rich sound.

The operating system is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is used, on which touches the Sense 5.0 UI, HTC said the then Zoe gives us the (in my opinion less useful) Flashing Feed and photo features. Together with Chungwha Telecom will offer you the HTC Butterfly s in Taiwan for the equivalent of just under 580 euros. There is then in July in the colors white, gray and red have to be. Through an international version of the device HTC has let us know anything yet. I was very taken with it but honestly, if there were to purchase this plane in our area. The Fat update the processor and the battery make it a very interesting device that could be safely sell very well here.

UPDATE: HTC has now released an official video for Butterfly s, which represents the large battery in the center:
