HTC presents smartphone with almost stock Android for 139 euros

HTC has presented the successor of the cheapest smartphone in its lineup. The Desire 320 shares many features with its predecessor Desire 310 and runs almost stock Android, with only a few by HTC-added applications.

The Desire 320 is almost equal to the Desire 310. The device has the same MediaTek processor with four Cortex A7-processor cores on the 1.3 GHz and 320 as well as the 310 makes use of a 4.5 “screen with a resolution of 854×480 pixels.

The 320 is 13,2×6,8cm slightly smaller than its predecessor. The phone supports 2G, 3G and wifi via a / b / g / n standards, but 4G is missing. The rear camera has a maximum resolution of five megapixels, which has a front 0.3 megapixels. The battery has a capacity of 2100mAh, slightly larger than the 2000mAh of Desire 310.

320 The Desire runs on Android 4.4 without HTC’s own Sense interface. Well, HTC homescreen replacer Blink Feed put on the phone and the camera app has been adjusted, but the good part is stock Android. Presumably HTC Sense features are not ported to MediaTek processors. All HTC smartphones with Qualcomm processors or running Sense.

The 320 is equal and has a suggested retail price of 139 euros. That is 30 euros less than the 169 euros HTC to release early for the 310. That price has since dropped to around 135 euros.
