HTC sets release first wearable out




HTC allows the release of its first wearable until later this year. That has let the manufacturer. The Taiwanese smartphone maker hopes to present later this year a “portfolio” of different wearables in collaboration with fitness brand Under Armour.

HTC presented the Grip early March with the One M9 in telecom exhibition Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and promised to release this summer. But that will not happen, according to a statement by the manufacturer to various media, including Cnet has sent .

The manufacturer says that the decision was taken by a “refinement of the vision ‘to wearables. “After a lot of testing with wearing the Grip and user feedback, we have decided to release the grip in line with the portfolio of health and fitness products we release later this year.” What portfolio HTC has ready is unknown. The manufacturer is still working with Under Armour and products use ‘fitness network ” UA Record . Whether and when the grip is coming out in Benelux, is unclear.
