Huawei launched its Ramadan application ” Muslim Daily” with programs and features that make it easier for the fasting person to complete the daily prayers on time, such as prayer times, reading the Holy Quran, and setting the Qiblah direction, as well as identifying the nearest mosques to the user.

The free application on the Android operating system offers a series of Ramadan programs in a single screen for the holy month of Ramadan, including Quran readings or 15 of the most famous readers (such as Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, Abdul Basset Abdul-Samad and Mashari Al-Afasi) and the ability to change readers in any Time and complete the verses without re-reading the sura from the beginning, listen to the reading even if the phone is locked, and add a verse to the list of favorite verses to return to it quickly at any time later.

The application also allows you to view the direction of the Qibla directly through the GPS navigation feature in the mobile phone. The application displays prayer times for many cities around the world and alerts the user when entering the prayer time even if the phone is locked, with a chronological countdown to the next prayer time. Depending on the user’s current location, the app can search for the nearest mosques and display them by name, address, and distance.

When you click on the name of a mosque from that list, the application will display a Google map of how to access the mosque, whether on foot or by car. The application also presents the Hijri and Gregorian calendar on the same page, with the start and end dates of each calendar month, and the presentation of various religious events, such as the beginning of Ramadan, Arafah, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and the Islamic New Year.

“Huawei is committed to making people’s lives better through its innovative products and programs. In the holy month of Ramadan, we are committed to delivering all that is useful and in keeping with the spirituality of the month,” said Jin Jiao, President, Huawei Consumer Business Group in the Middle East and Africa. Blessed to all our customers in the Islamic world, and every year you are happy. “
