Huawei delivered in the spring more than 21 million smartphones, up 85 percent compared to the same period last year. If it continues this growth, Huawei has over a year as big as Apple, the world number two in the smartphone market.

Huawei currently occupies third place in the field of supply of smartphones behind Samsung and Apple, but the Chinese manufacturer sees its supplies grow faster than larger competitors, according to information that Huawei provided to Reuters. The last three quarters of the supplies Huawei two quarters around 85 percent compared to the same period grew a year earlier. Apple sees its sales of iPhones not grow as fast for years.

Huawei If the growth continues, it sells in a year every three months around 39 million smartphones, about the same as Apple. Thus the dominance of Apple and Samsung in the smartphone market would be broken. At its peak, Apple and Samsung together contributed more than half of the smartphones worldwide.

Huawei is not the only Chinese manufacturer that makes a heady growth. Xiaomi saw his deliveries in recent months almost quadruple compared to the same period a year earlier. Other manufacturers like LG and Sony also see supplies increase but much less hard. LG gave last three months, 14.5 million smartphones.
