Huawei sold 60.5 million smartphones in the first half 2016

Huawei has sold a quarter more smartphones in the first half of 2016 than in the same period last year. Sales for the six month period amounted to 60.5 million sets.

Huawei Sales increased mainly in Europe, a market where traditionally many high-ends smartphones are sold, and in emerging markets such as North Africa, Central Asia and South America. That said Richard Yu, Huawei leading the consumententak, told Reuters.

The good sales turnover of the company’s consumer component increased by 41 percent in the half year to 77.4 billion yuan, converted 10.5 billion. Monday was the group announced that the total turnover of the company was increased by 40 percent to 245.5 billion yuan, converted 33 3 billion.

Huawei has risen to the main competitor of Samsung in terms of Android phones. The two companies are in business together patent involved . Huawei still selling more high-endtoestellen, where it sold mainly cheaper smartphones in the past to make less profit.
