Huaweis foldable 5g smartphone seems

to have a single screen design
A photo of an advertising cloth has appeared on Twitter, on which probably Huaweis foldable 5g smartphone can be seen. The device is named Mate X and, unlike the Samsung Galaxy Fold, seems to use a single screen instead of two.

The Twitter account Gimme2pm has placed a seemingly credible photo on which workmen are putting up a large advertising cloth. You can see some pictures of the phone on the phone, which would be named Mate X. The device is described as the world’s fastest folding 5g phone.

Also on the picture you can see that the Mate X seems to deviate from the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy Fold . This phone has a foldable 7.28 “screen on the inside, in combination with a 4.58” screen on the outside cover. At Mate X there seems to be a single screen that is folded out.

In October last year it became clear that Huawei is working on a foldable smartphone . Huawei director Richard Yu announced in January that his company will present a 5g smartphone with foldable screen at the Mobile World Congress fair in Barcelona and that this device will have its own HiSilicon Kirin 980-soc . More information may follow Sunday during the Huawei event in Barcelona.
