IFA 2013: Panasonic WT600 4K TV presented
Panasonic presented at the IFA 2013 the world’s first ultra HD TV with 4K 50/60p-Eingang. As the first Ultra high-definition television in the world supports the Panasonic TX-L65WT600E 4K signals with up to 60 frames per second, based on the new standard HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2a.
The TX-L65WT600E trumps image quality of conventional television and complements the high 4K resolution with useful extras for easy playback of photos and videos in ultra high definition. In combination with the 2,000 Hz bls technology of 165cm (65 inches) wide WT600 reached a particularly high motion blur, especially in fast-paced sports and action scenes as well as in computer games.
The panel resolves 4K Ultra HD content with 3840 x 2160 pixels. The design is minimalist, a narrow metal frame surrounds the large panel. The WT600 6,999 euros (RRP) is commercially available from October. I have previously looked at the device live, what can I say, he looks niht only by strong design, but also the picture is really good. Slowly, it is probably time that 4K content are widely available.
