iFile is now fully compatible with iOS 6, 8 and iPhone




The developer of the popular file manager Carsten iFile Heinelt released an update for compatibility with iOS 8 and the latest generation of iPhone. On release of the new version of iFile programmer said in his microblog.


IFile 2.1.0-1 version agreed on the basic problems of the compatibility with the iOS operating system and iPhone 6 8 (Plus). The program of work is fixed Bluetooth-connection problems are solved with Box SDK and the function «Pull down to refresh». The developer has also added new icons for the iPhone 6 Plus and updated the file search – instead of the magnifying glass icon now displays an activity indicator. The new version of the file manager available for free on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch with jailbreak.

iFile – it is the most advanced file manager for iOS. In functionality it reminds iFiles and Air Sharing from App Store, but offers the widest range of operations for working with files and documents: creating, editing, archiving, deleting, moving, sending by e-mail, work by drag-n-drop, integration with Dropbox and more.


Furthermore, iFile plays music as well as the native player (including cover, management, etc.) and provides access to files on the iOS-device with a computer via local web addresses and protocol Bonjour.


iFile is distributed on shareware model. Download the app is available for free, but some functions, such as search and tabs are available only after payment.
