IHS iSuppli: LG displays, the main supplier of the second-generation iPad mini

iPad mini

It is expected that the main supplier of displays for the iPad mini will make the second-generation LG Display, and not Samsung, as previously assumed . Research firm IHS iSuppli notes that the new miniature displays for Apple’s tablet produced in the same amount as the display for the first model iPad mini in the past year. It is reported by the network resource Electronista.

This message may indicate an inaccurate rumors that the production of the new tablet will begin in November 2013, and the announcement will take place later.

Although the main supplier of displays will be LG Display, Sharp has also produce some portion of screens for the upcoming new items. According to some other reports, Samsung will be the third supplier. Despite the opposition of the two corporations, kupertinovtsy can take advantage of much-needed help Samsung and thus provide themselves with Retina-displays in an amount sufficient to bring iPad mini to the international market.

At that time, as the share of iPhone in the Chinese market is becoming less significant , the company still remains the most popular tablet developer.
