Image of suspected Palm smartphone shows device with 3.3 “screen

new Palm smartphone from TCL seems to be a small device for the budget market, based on images and specifications that have appeared. The Android smartphone would get a 3.3 “screen.

The image that Android Police received shows a small smartphone with slightly rounded edges. On the back are letters that form the brand Palm and there is a single camera to see. The site also publishes specifications of the device.

For example, it would have a 3.3 “LCD with the 720p resolution, the processor would be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435, an octacore that Qualcomm announced in early 2016 and has a clock speed of 1.4 GHz. 3GB ram and 32GB storage capacity.

The battery capacity would only be 800mAh, which seems very little even with the small screen. Furthermore, the Palm smartphone would run Android 8.1 and come to the market in dark silver and gold. The price is still unknown.

The fact that the Palm appears to be a budget device was already apparent from FCC and the WiFi Alliance documents, which reported the presence of only 2.4 GHz WiFi . TCL acquired the Palm brand in 2014 from HP, which the old PDA maker had taken over in 2010 but had little success with.
