Improved demand topics and notifications – Development iteration # 80

Our developers have completed iteration # 80. In the past three weeks, the focus was on improving demand topics on the forum. In addition, we have improved the functioning of the notifications and fixes a number of bugs.
Improving demand topics

At the release of the previous iteration, we introduced a basic version of the Q & A concept on the forum. In the past three weeks we have been working on improving the functionality and includes a new built form for adding topics, a new layout designed for topics in the subject area and a karma bonus added for the best answer. Furthermore, we now send a notification if the questioner your response is marked as best answer.

The new topic form has been given a simpler layout and includes instructions to help enquirers to formulate their demand.

We have forumtab in environments subject renamed “Discussions and ask ‘so obvious is that you ask in this tab you can find on the subject. The new listing is possible to pull down the starting post of a topic. In the case of a question is also the best possible answer flipped open.

Improved functioning of notifications

New notifications are no longer automatically considered as read when you open the notification overlay, but do so only if you click on a notification. You can get a notification as well as read by clicking on the icon to the left of the thumbnail in the overview of all recent notifications to ‘mark all notifications as read.

In addition to the above changes, we’ve added alerts for marking your forum post as the best answer and receiving a thumbs-up for your forum post. If another user appreciation for your post late show by giving a thumbs-up, now you get there so a message from.
Sorting of stores in the price listings

The grading of the shops in the price listing has been changed slightly to make it fairer. Previously, the list was sorted by price and the average of the unrounded shop reviews. This resulted in a shop with an average of 4.5 stars and two reviews were sorted higher than a shop with an average of 4.3 stars and thirty reviews. We now sort by price and average review rating shop which has been completed on a half star. If several shops have the same rounded average, the shop with the highest number of shop reviews displayed first. The number of reviews is displayed behind the stars.

we researched serving the site over https, the asynchronous loading of banners and upgrading to PHP7;
we have fixed up a bug that prevented wish lists could be copied;
we have fixed a bug that prevented users are able to sign up for the newsletter.
